Young Actors Performance Camp (Grades K-2) / February 13th - 17th, 2012
Taught and Directed by Jason Suel
Back by popular demand, this performance-based camp is perfect for the budding young actor. Students learn a story, develop characters, memorize lines, create set, props, costumes and on Friday PUT ON A PLAY! The play we will be performing is Cinderella/Cinder Jack.
Make 'em Laugh Comedy Performance Camp (Grades 3-4) / February 13th - 17th, 2012
A fun and foundational Trike Theatre acting camp, Comedy Camp introduces students to physical and scripted comedy. Rehearsing the hilarious play “The Surprising Story of the Three Little Pigs,” students will develop bigger than life characters, memorize lines and blocking, and help create sets, props, costumes and then on Friday PUT ON A PLAY!

Story Drama (Two Different Sections!)

Experience a story from the inside. In each class you will explore different books through improvisation, imagination, and multi-sensory props. Discover the excitement of drama and working as an ensemble while enjoying the best in children's literature.

Grades: 3rd - 12th
Practically Perfect in every way! Join us as we take a journey through the magical, musical world of Mary Poppins. This Academy Players class is performance-based, students will learn songs and dances from the musical. This class includes a trip to the Walton Arts Center to see the professional touring production of Mary Poppins (family members welcome!).

Always wanted to put on a play? This class will work together to devise a script, based on a familiar story, and then dive in, focusing on the acting basics. They will have a chance to develop interesting characters, and assist with the design of the costumes, sets and props! Students will work together to create a fun, engaging performance! Learn the skills that all great improvisers use: trust your instincts, think on your feet, and create new characters and story lines on the spot. Students hone their performance skills as they team up to compete in Improv games!
